Other soloists will be Merlyn Quaife (Soprano), Sally-Anne Russell (Mezzo-Soprano) and Nick Dinopoulos (Bass), along with the choir and orchestra of St Francis' Church. Thursday 1st December, 2022 As well continuing to prepare as understudy for Siegfried's Mime for Melbourne Opera's Der Ring des Nibelungen in Bendigo, I am singing a Christmas concert for the Rotary Club of Melbourne on 14th December. I will be joined by Dana Zeimer, who has played guitar from an early age and pursued a professional career as an opera singer in Australia and Europe. The nominated charity for the Christmas Appeal will support flood recovery in Rochester. Donations are tax deductible. More details on the performances page as usual. Saturday 29th October, 2022 I have asked to jump-in for a concert tomorrow with the Team of Pianists at Labassa Mansions. I will be singing a program of Tosti songs as well as some duets with mezzo-soprano Sally-Anne Russell, accompanied by Darryl Coote on piano. Friday 16th September, 2022 Tomorrow, I will sing the tenor solos in Haydn's The Seasons with Victoria Chorale. I am also currently understudying Mime in Melbourne Opera's Siegfried in Concert, which will take place on Sunday 25th September. Thursday 11th August, 2022 Last week I began rehearsals for Melbourne Opera's production of Donizetti's Lucrezia Borgia playing the role of the doomed Liverotto. It opens on the Sunday 28th August with a live stream on Tuesday 6th September through the Australian Digital Concert Hall. The Bunyip Concert of Arias and Anecdotes will take place on Saturday 20th August. In September I sing the tenor solos in Haydn's The Seasons with Victoria Chorale and will also be understudying Mime in Melbourne Opera's Siegfried in Concert. Monday 11th July, 2022 The Bunyip Performance of Arias and Anecdotes has been rescheduled to Saturday 20th August. Details as usual on the performances page. Saturday 2nd July, 2022 Unfortunately, my concert in Bunyip on Sunday has had to be postponed! It will be rescheduled hopefully to a date in August. I'm sorry to anybody who was planning to go this weekend! I will let you all know when we have a replacement planned. The other performances in Ballarat and Canterbury will go forward as planned. There is however, some good news. I have another upcoming concert on Saturday 17th September, 2022 at the Hawthorn Arts Centre. I will be singing the tenor solos in Haydn The Seasons Parts 1 & 2 - "Spring" and "Summer". Also on the program are Mozart Kyrie K341 and Vaughan Williams The Lark Ascending Details on the performances page as usual. Tuesday 3rd May, 2022 I have recently moved back permanently to Melbourne, Australia and I am very excited to announce that I will be performing a series of recitals in July.
