The first performance in Theater Augsburg kicked off with the "Hereinspaziert" gala opening day last Saturday and then with the revival of Le Nozze di Figaro on Sunday. I will be performing in eight operas this year with Theater Augsburg and lots of concerts. I am also going to be making an appearance for a performance of Kurt Weill's Die Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny at Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz (Details of this performance here) next February 2012 as well as a solo concert in Malta during January 2012. Some new photos have finally been added from performances this season in Augsburg. I expect I will be more proactive about getting the photos up next season!

Tuesday 31st May, 2011

More concerts and performances with Theater Augsburg have been added to the performances section. These include Lange Kunstnacht Musee which is the evening where all the Augsburg museums open late and there are many concerts happening around town.

Die Abseitsfalle (The Offside trap) is a theater revue piece about a women's soccer team and their struggle for victory and features songs from the 60's to the 90's including Tears for Fears, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers and various German groups that I have never heard of. It will be performed on Augsburgs open air stage (The Freilichtbühne).

And finally, to close the season, I will be performing excerpts from West Side Story in the gala concert for Anna Maria Kaufmann also on the Freilichtbühne before going away for the holidays. The performances will probably not stop in July so stay tuned!

After a delay to rival Guns'n'Roses Chinese Democracy, my epic debut progessive rock album is finally available for sale!

Since I made the decision to go and release it and look for somewhere to play the songs, it has taken many months to create the finished artwork, find the right website and CD printers to duplicate and sell it and to wean the originally 17 track album to only the best cuts. I am very proud of the end result!

The featured songs Happy Somewhere, Silence and Swift (with lyrics provided by Michele Zappavigna) can be streamed in full for free from my myspace page. You can read the lyrics by clicking here,

The Shadows available for purchase as a physical CD or as MP3s from CD Baby.

Performance dates will be announced very soon! Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks.

Sunday 10th April, 2011

The performance on Easter Sunday has been changed from a Madame Butterfly to a Marriage of Figaro in Theater Augsburg. There are also some updates to the performances of Madama Butterfly to take into account that it is being performed in Ingolstadt, NOT Theater Augsburg. Check the performances section for the most up to date information.

Friday 18th February, 2011

It has been brought to my attention that I have been additionally cast in King Arthur at Theater Augsburg. This has been added to the performances section. Cast has not been finalised on the Theater Augsbug website, but will be coming in the next few months hopefully.
